FAQ
What is Raw Hair?
Raw hair is 100% unprocessed human hair collected directly from donors. It has never been chemically treated, steamed, or altered in any way, making it the highest quality hair available. Raw hair is incredibly durable, can be colored, bleached, and styled just like your natural hair, and with proper care, can last for years.
How should I wash my hair?
I recommend washing your bundles every 2-3 weeks depending on usage. Use a sulfate-free shampoo and a moisturizing conditioner. Gently detangle with a wide-tooth comb before washing, wash in a downward motion, with lukewarm water, avoiding excessive rubbing or twisting to prevent tangling. Allow the hair to air dry. Avoid excessive heat and always apply a heat protectant before styling.
How long does raw hair last?
With proper care, raw hair bundles can last 2–5 years or even longer. Because raw hair is unprocessed, it maintains its integrity and natural luster far longer than processed or remy hair. Regular washing, conditioning, and gentle handling will extend the life of your bundles significantly.
Can I color or bleach your bundles?
Yes! Our Raw hair and Virgin Hair can be professionally colored, bleached, and customized to your desired look. Always deep condition after coloring to maintain moisture and shine. Keep in mind that excessive bleaching or chemical processing may effect the hair's texture and longevity, so deep conditioning and proper maintenance are important after any color treatment.
How many bundles do I need for a full head?
The number of bundles you need depends on the length and the style you want to achieve. Generally: 2–3 bundles for lengths 14-22 inches, 3–4 bundles for lengths 24–30 inches, and 4+ bundles for lengths 30 inches and above, for that fuller look. If you're adding a closure or frontal, you may need fewer bundles.
